He never ceases to Amaze me
Hey everyone,
It's been almost a week since I've been back to the Land of Wood and Water. There have been good and bad days. But (Yasine sings) "Through it all, through it all, I've learnt to trust in Jesus, I've learnt to trust in God". Geez, I'm becoming my mother, always has a song for every situation :) (I love you Mommy!!)
Let me tell you about what transpired the morning I came back. I had a wonderful flight, it wasn't full and so I had the entire row to myself. Anyway, I'm waiting by the carousel to collect my bags and lo and behold a bag passes that looks like mine but it certainly wasn't in the condition it was in when I checked in. So in amazement I watched it go around the carousel (kinda felt like I was watching a movie really........except I was in it).
The bag was obviously burnt. Holes in the bottom and on the sides. There were clothes sticking out through the holes (thankfully no underwear fell out............that would have been interesting.) (I really wanted to show y'all some pictures but they were taking forever to upload). So I filed a report today and they said it should take 3-4 weeks to come back. I'm praying that it will be less though. I'm giving thanks still because I only had damage to a few items of my clothing. I'm still trying to figure out how that could have happened. The only other thing I could think is that there could have been something wrong with the plane. In that case.................PRAISE GOD FOR LIFE!!! After all Psalm 34:7 says "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them".
I know y'all probably don't have this problem but, I wish I was at the stage in my Christian walk where when God says something, even if I don't see it, I just automatically believe. Yesterday, I began looking for an album that Mom asked me to find that has all my baby pictures in it. While I was searching for it I pulled out a bag...........and get this, this is awesome...................it contained a Spanish dictionary and a 4 CD set with lessons in conversational Spanish. Now this is what makes it so awesome...............I purchased that in the summer of 2002 while I was in Canada. My friends, God's plan for our lives is perfect. He has everything thought out.
